Rodan + Fields recently introduced their new AMP MD micro-needle roller and the AMP MD AntiAge skin care products. How Does Micro-Needle Therapy Work?

The Rodan + Fields AMP MD micro-needle roller device targets the skin’s surface with very tiny needles. Running the roller over the face creates tiny micro-channels in the skin. The resulting mild prickling sensation and minute damage causes the body to rebuild collagen and elastin all over the face wherever the needles penetrate, much in the same way fractal laser resurfacing works. As with fractal laser resurfacing, the damaged areas produce new collagen and elastin which results in fewer lines and wrinkles and a smoother, younger looking complexion.
